My new favorite TV show.
I know they carefully screen and setup the situations, but it doesn’t matter. The first two episodes this season, where the company president finds out one of his employees is homeless and gives her $250,000 for a house and where the other company president helps take care of a woman whose father is fighting cancer while she takes care of her child with autism, the stories made me cry. It doesn’t matter if the network helps cover the cost, if it comes out of the CEO’s pocket, or wherever the money comes from, the show seems to cause genuine eye-opening moments for corporate big-shots, helps people who need and are deserving of help, and makes us all feel good.
There are good people in this country. We can and will take care of each other. We don’t need government to take care of all of us.
Watch this show – it will make you feel good.
