In case there was any question about how the President views free markets, or whether his basic position is one of centrally-planned, government-controlled economic decisions, here’s a quote from a very recent interview with Rolling Stone:
“The single biggest thing that I would like to see is changing incentives on Wall Street and how people get compensated.”
Mr. President, I disagree completely. It is not the business of government to “change how people get compensated.” It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about Wall Street CEOs or factory workers. Let markets work.
This election is so very critical to the economic health and possibly economic survival of our country.
