At least the most absurd one I’ve read in a long, long time. “How Paul Ryan Makes It Easier For the Republicans to Steal the Election.” Let me summarize it for you, then you can go read it if you dare.
By nominating Paul Ryan to be their vice Presidential candidate, the republicans have no chance of actually winning the election because their ideas, especially about Medicare, are so abhorrent that no one could ever possibly vote for them unless they’re a lunatic, right-wing, tea-party, nutcase. So the only way the republicans could win the election is by cheating and stealing it, which they are well on their way to doing with all these unreasonable ideas like a photo ID might be necessary to vote. And besides we all know the only way George Bush won was by stealing the election no matter what the facts and the Supreme Court said.
So by nominating Paul Ryan, who’s such a nice looking, polite young man, the Republicans will have the public on their side and no one will be outraged when they steal the election.
This is wrong on so many levels, filled with such venom, and absurdity, that I felt I just had to share it. The truly scary part is the woman who wrote it did not write it as satire – she actually believes this stuff!
