Back in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s we watched “Dallas” all the time. We were able to put aside the absurdity of the show – most of the people in Dallas never did act or dress that way – and enjoy the familiar places and sights and the fun story line. I remember watching the “Who Shot J.R.” episode in our best friends’ apartment in Chicago during the law school years.

The new version which debuted on TV a couple of weeks ago is on our DVR, but we haven’t watched it yet.

So I thought this article and YouTube video were fascinating. Maybe it’s true; maybe it’s exaggerated. But it’s a fun theory. All you IB kids who are taught everything imaginable about the Cold War – see what you think.
