Wife: I need to go to school to learn how to use the washer and dryer. It’ll take weeks to learn the features and settings.
Me: Or I could read the manuals and tell you what you need to know.
Wife: That’s what I was counting on.
I’m one of those weirdos who always reads manuals – software, cars, cameras, appliances, etc. I just like to know and I hate the error part of trial and error. Kerry comes from a family that greatly prefers trial and error – they (especially her father) seem to think the mystery is part of the adventure of something new. Our combination works for us.
I’d write more, but I’ve got reading to do. Laundry’s waiting.
